Thanks so much for dropping by. I am Stephanie Lines-Toohill and founder of Sparrow's Nest. I have been facilitating youth arts groups, community arts events and collaborative projects for almost fifteen years in and around Elora.
I am a Community PSW and a community partner with the Supportive Arts group at Elora Centre for the Arts.
My passion is connecting people of all ages and abilities using collaboration to share skills and celebrate diversity. In the nest, we look for moments of curiosity and learning in the process of making.
We allow projects and art pieces to unfold in their own time and encourage improvised solutions to projects with unexpected outcomes.
My hope is to provide a safe landing place for people to rest their wings. Vulnerability and resiliency are nurtured here.
The chirpy sparrow perches as our totem for unity, protection, integrity, empowerment, innovation, joy and simplicity. Sparrows remind us that small things can create change in a big world.
Hope to see you roosting here one day,
